The lab products wool and cotton using a hand loom.
This ancient craft is rooted in the textile tradition of the area, it allows a comprehensive formation of the person as well as the production of unique, high quality goods, worthy of being compared to the finest items produced by companies in Biella.
The company Piacenza Cashmere 1733 in Pollone (Biella) cooperates with us by providing the finest yarn.
Our looms produce scarves, shawls, capes and plaids that carry the history of many people who came from far way looking for hope.
Every item is made by hand from warping to weaving to finishing. The production times are very long but they allow us to help the persona long in life and on the job. The person in charge of teaching and coordinating production is teacher Marilena Terzuolo of the association Tessitura e Oltre in Asti, in cooperation with the volunteers of the association Piccola Fata di Pettinengo.

Prodotta a mano nelle scuole#laboratorio ARCANK’IO di Pettinengo, nasce da un ‘idea del presidente di Pacefuturo Marco Tonon e si sviluppa grazie alla collaborazione con la prestigiosa azienda tessile Biellese “Piacenza Cashmere 1733” e la Comunità Montana Valle Stura in provincia di Cuneo.
