The logo of Pacefuturo is the result of a contest between young international artists taking part in UNIVERSITY OF IDEAS – UNIDEE 2005 promoted by Cittadellarte – Foundation Pistoletto.

The Chinese winners Ke Jipeng and Sun Youquan describe it as follows:

“The logo is made up of four different hands of different colors; the four hands represent the four cardinal directions: east, west, south and north, which symbolize the different cultures of the world; grey conveys peace and balance.

The other colors, blended together in a sphere, represent peace and change, which only in a state of peace bring out the polychrome of cultures”.
